TOLL Officially Enters Next Level Production

Today marks a milestone I’ve been quietly working toward for months. Tales of Louie Lamb has officially entered a new level of production. Louie, the little lamb who’s lived in my head, my paddocks, and my scribbled notes, (based on my first ever rescued sheep called Louie), is now being brought to life by our illustrator, and the first pages of his world are underway.

This is the extension of the visual journey for the entire Lambies World universe. The sketches, colours, expressions, and full‑page scenes that will enhance Louie’s personality are now in motion. It’s both surreal and exciting to see this project shift from creation to formal development.

Behind the scenes, this step has involved contracts, NDAs, timelines, funding and a lot of late nights rolling into very early mornings, but it’s worth every moment. Book 1 is always the foundation, and once this book is completed, the rest of the series will no doubt follow a smooth, consistent rhythm.

For now, I’m celebrating this moment: Louie Lamb takes his next steps.
